PT PJB Services is one subsidiary company of PT PJB (Generation Java Bali) and grandson of SOE - State Owned Enterprise PT PLN, which was established to meet the needs of business lines to provide operation services, maintenance of power generation units. The company was established on March 30, 2001 with the percentage of ownership 98% owned by PT PJB and 2% owned by PT PJB YK (Welfare Foundation PT. PJB). Initially, PT PJB Services only focus on the field of power plant maintenance services, then evolved into a company that is engaged in the operation, maintenance of power plants. Meanwhile, PT PLN Pembangitan Jawa Bali I (PT PLN PJB I) changed its name to PT Indonesia Power. PJB history started since 1945 then in 1965, the company is divided into two: the State Electricity Company and the National Gas Company. In 1972, PLN status became public company (Perum). In 1982, PLN broken down into two: Unit Division and Unit Power Generation and Transmission. In 1994, PLN Persero status. A year later, the restructuring of PT PLN (Persero) with the establishment of the generation subsidiary. Restructuring is done to separate the company's mission on the social and commercial.
